Cody D. Jammer, of Lower Makefield, pleaded guilty to statutory sexual assault and corruption of minors on Monday, June 13, Deputy District Attorney Mary Kate Kohler said in a Thursday, June 23 release.

An investigation began in July 2020 after the victim told police she had been abused by Jammer from 2015 to 2016 when she was between the ages of 14 and 15, and Jammer was 19, the prosecutor said.

Jammer began sexually assaulting the girl a month after they met in July 2015, and would meet her in private places like parking lots or wooded areas to avoid being caught, Kohler said.

Jammer also requested naked photos from the girl, threatening to send them to her parents and school principal if she left him, authorities said.

Detectives discovered the child porn and inappropriate conversations between the two after seizing his electronics during a raid on his home in July 2021, they said.

Jammer was sentenced to 10 to 23 ½ months in the Bucks County Correctional Facility.

A judge also ordered Jammer to comply with county probation rules, pay $7,930 in restitution, have no contact with the victim, and undergo a mental health evaluation and sexual offender treatment.

“Her courage throughout this process was inspiring,” Kohler said. “I have no doubt her story will inspire others to stand up to their abusers and seek justice.”
